What is the CS DUG?

The Computer Science DUG works with the Brown CS department to best support undergraduates concentrating in CS! We are hear to help you make the most out of your academics at Brown and achieve all your career goals.

Meet Our Officer Team

Michael Foiani

Co-President

Florida man that turned his professional gaming skills into a deep passion for CS. My main interests are teaching, privacy, basketball, and music. This year as as senior, he’s excited to be CS DUG Co-President!

Nicholas Bottone

Co-President

Nick is a junior from Rhode Island studying Computer Science. At Brown, he is involved with the CS DUG as the Co-President, where he works on organizing events and the website. He is also involved in Brown Esports and Full Stack at Brown.

Andrew Li

Co-President

Andrew is a junior from Falls Church, Virginia studying computer science. He has been involved with the CS DUG since his first-year, and currently serves as President. During his free time, Andrew loves to watch films from his friend’s Disney+ account and sleep.

Robert Koch

Officer

Robert is a junior from Chicago studying computer science. At Brown, he is involved with the CS DUG via general event planning and coordination. Outside of the DUG, he is involved in the AI Robotics Ethics Society and works at the Swearer Center for Public Service.

Fengyuan "Francis" Wang

Officer

Francis is a junior from New York studying CS and Classics. At Brown, he is involved with the CS DUG by managing logistics, obtaining funding, and allocating financial resources to club events and tasks. Outside of CS, he is also involved with Kendo, Aikido, Ultimate Frisbee and the Brown Classics Journal.

Austin Lang

Officer

Austin is a junior from West Roxbury, MA studying computer science and economics. He works on obtaining financial resources and allocating them for the organization’s events and tasks. He is also involved in Brown Data Science, Full Stack at Brown, and the IT Service Center.
